Our tour will begin with a day of getting acquainted with our fellow travelers and learning of our plans for the next few days. We travel through the Carolinas arriving at the “Grand Strand” Myrtle Beach and check into our oceanfront hotel for a three night stay. Our show is an adventure at Dolly Parton’s Pirates Voyage—be delighted by heart- stopping high diving, astounding gymnastics, amazing live animals and hilarious comedy – all while enjoying a four-course feast.
You may wish to enjoy a walk on the beach or just take in the great view from your oceanfront room. Enjoy a leisurely morning to rest af- ter yesterday. This afternoon we have reserved seats at The Legends in Concert’s show in their state-of-the-art theater located at Broadway at the Beach, the Carolina coast’s premiere shopping, dining and entertain- ment destination. Celebrity look-a-likes perform the songs and dances of legendary stars such as Elvis Presley, Rod Stewart, Michael Jackson and Dolly Parton, to name just a few. We enjoy a delicious dinner included this evening at Chestnut Hill. After dinner, we will see the award-winning Carolina Opry— two hours of high-energy music, comedy and dance in a luxurious theater complete with state-of-the-art lighting, sound and special effects. Highly acclaimed by The New York Times, USA Today, NBC Nightly News, and CNN, The Carolina Opry is the only show to be named “Top Attraction in Myrtle Beach” by CNBC. Featuring a cast of over 35 of the nation’s most talented performers, this variety show spans all genres to bring you the best hits of yesterday, today and everything in between! Each season you can expect new songs, fresh elaborate costumes, and sidesplitting comedy to delight even those guests who have seen the show many times over.
It’s time to get down to some serious shopping at the many national retail shops and unique boutiques as you stroll around the outdoor setting, exploring fun and fashion Barefoot style at Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle Beach. Those who wish can also shop at the Tanger Outlets of North Myrtle Beach before returning to our hotel to freshen up before the evening activities. This evening we will see the Alabama Theatre’s production of “ONE” The Show. ONE brings audiences an incredible entertainment experience featuring everything from Country, Gospel, Broadway, Pop and Rock to plenty of hilarious family comedy. The talented entertainers, extravagant costumes and dazzling scenery will make you feel like you are in New York or Las Vegas.
Enjoy your last morning stroll on the beach before we depart Myrtle Beach for our trip back to Knoxville. We will be stopping in the Spartanburg, South Carolina area for lunch on your own before arriving in Knoxville. We have seen wonderful shows in Myrtle Beach and enjoyed great food. Don’t forget the beach—WOW!
